Captain Nikoli Andropov was a Human born on Benecia Colony in 2327. Andropov was a Starfleet Academy graduate, class of 2340. Nikoli Andropov had the distinction of being the first Academy graduate from Benecia. Little is known of his early Starfleet career. Andropov was appointed First officer of the USS Righteous on stardate: 35777. He later received a field promotion to Captain by Admiral Santana on stardate: 36533 when the Righteous captain was killed during the conflict on Akiri II.
