He has also appeared in various other British television series such as "Emmerdale", "Coronation Street", "Holby City" and "The Bill". He also works as a teacher of drama and PE at Cansfield High School, a Rugby League journalist and commentator, a wedding registrar in Bolton, and a football coach. He is the son of late Labour Party MP Roger Stott and Irene Mills. He is married to Alison Stott and they have a son together.
