Vissing is a bandit. He is described as a very tall man, with a very long chin and nose that is the characteristic shape and colour of a radish. His nickname in the original Polish is "Łup-Cup". He was an unexpected guest at Geralt and Yennefer's wedding in the short story Coś się kończy, coś się zaczyna ("Something Ends, Something Begins..."). He arrives carrying a large sack and his favourite club.
