The UV71P features an American basswood body mated to a maple and walnut Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with a disappearing pyramid inlay. Components include DiMarzio Blaze pickups in an HSH configuration, a double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. Other than the finish (color) and fretboard inlays, it is essentially a twin of the UV70P.
