Michael Paul Beasley Jr. (born January 9, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Houston Rockets. He shoots his jump shot left-handed, though he is also ambidextrous. Beasley played college basketball for Kansas State Wildcats for one year before declaring for the NBA draft on April 14, 2008. He is regarded as one of the greatest freshman college basketball players of the 2000s.
