A Dark Creature is a creature that is dark by nature or that has been turned dark by an outside force. Dark creatures are considered evil by many and often create mischief, try to turn others dark, and many support or are a part of The Society of the Evening Star. A Shadow Charmer is someone who has ben affected by dark magic, a dark creature can both create a shadow charmer and unlock his or her powers, as seen when Graulas unlocked Seth Sorenson's powers even though he was made shadow charmer by the Revenant at Fablehaven when he pulled the nail out of it's neck
