She leaves Steelers Wednesday, June 01, 2011, By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette[1] Ariko Iso, the only full-time woman assistant athletic trainer in the NFL, will leave the Steelers June 10, 2011, to become the head athletic trainer at Oregon State, her alma mater. Ms. Iso spent nine seasons with the Steelers, becoming the first and only woman athletic trainer as a full-time employee in the NFL.
