Brian Osbourne (born 1940 in Bath) appeared in Coronation Street in November 1982 as company boss Jim Ward. He also appeared in Softly Softly, Redcap, Bless This House, Upstairs, Downstairs, Emmerdale Farm, Pardon My Genie, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, Space: 1999, The Sandbaggers, The Gentle Touch, Shine on Harvey Moon, All Creatures Great and Small and several roles in The Bill. Film roles include six of the later Carry on... productions and he had several tours of Europe and the United States of America with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
