Julian Kay is a British actor who played Robert Preston in Coronation Street for recurring appearances from 1996 to 2003. The role was taken over by Tristan Gemmill twelve years later in 2015. His television appearances include two series of Dangerfield as PC Tom Allen and two series of Girls in Love as art teacher Mr Darren Green.
