Kran-Tobal prison is a prison facility on Bajor. It is located on an island, near the city of Kran-Tobal. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion) One of the most high profile prisoners currently being held there is Jaro Essa. He was sentenced to be imprisoned there for leading the Alliance for Global Unity and its coup d'état against the Provisional Government. He was still held there in late 2376.
