The casualty Nurse was on duty at Weatherfield General when the Street was rocked by an explosion from The Joinery bar, followed by a derailed tram from the wrecked viaduct in December 2010. A badly injured Peter Barlow was one of the people trapped in the bar but Nick Tilsley and Ashley Peacock managed to get him out to the rescue service, although Ashley lost his life in the process. Peter was rushed to hospital where the Nurse received him from the Paramedic. Later on, when Peter was in danger of cardiac arrest, the nurse assisted the Doctor on duty in giving the patient morphine to reduce the pain.
