An Eltarian shapeshifting stone is a mystical object found on the planet Eltar. It is primarily used by automatons to give them the power to alter their forms, or to form weapons from the extremities on their bodies; for instance, Alpha can turn his hands into sawblades and knife-hands for use in combat. Alpha 5 found a stone during his time on Eltar that allowed him to transform back into his original body during Passing the Torch, only to convert into his new body during Chase into Space.
