Mad scratchers are neutral NPCs found in The Oblivion Palace. Even they are neutral NPCs, if player tries to move to their tile, the player will attack them instead of swapping tiles. Using Disguise set or Incognito spell will make a question mark pop up on these NPCs, but still doesn't prevent player to attack these NPCs when player moves to their tile. In combat, Mad scratchers punch their target and sometimes uses Eye of Insanity to their target, causing insanity.
