Nation Song Contest 45 was the 45th contest, and was hosted by Scorpionia after they hosted (and won) the previous edition. 10 Regions of Mobius, Pigeon Island, United Islands and Zechonia debuted, taking the roster places of Belvist, Katzenauge, Orovoda and Vegetaria, who withdrew before this edition commenced. Doklea, Rotterdamus and Vorhota wsd forced to sit out due to failure to vote in the previous final, whereas Bezzulandia, Begonia and Viola Per Sempre withdrew out of choice. Groonrorm has decided to return to its initial name - Sillycone Valley.
