A CB-3 was a model of droid. In the time of the Galactic Empire, it was considered a new model, one which had been manufactured following the Clone Wars. While staying with Saw Gerrera on the planet Wrea, Jyn Erso encountered a shiny C-B3 droid that had been modified hastily.
