Eleanor Belendrake (née Justicano) is a Carpathian female who first appears in Dark Prince. In that book, she goes into labor underground and her psychic cries are heard by vampire hunters and Raven Whitney, who is brutally attacked coming to Eleanor's defense. Raven's injuries are the catalyst to her conversion to Carpathian. Help arrives in time for both of them and Benji is born healthy. Eleanor and her lifemate Vlad also adopted an orphaned boy named Josef.
