The Deeper Well's guardians are unknown species of demons that defend the Deeper Well. They attack Spike and Angel when travelled to the Deeper Well to extract Illyria from the body of Winifred Burkle. However both vampires defeated and killed them. When Illyria returns to the Deeper Well a new specie of demon replaced the ones that died and tried to stop her from entering, however the Old One killed them with little effort.
