The Sandpoint Shipyard is located on Sandpoint Harbor at the corner of Hook Street and Whisker Street. The side of the long building facing the water is completely open, allowing numerous shipwrights, ropemakers, and sailmakers to work on one of three dry docks there. The business is owned by one of the founding families of Sandpoint, the Valdemars, and Belven Valdemar oversees the nearly constant work there.
