Malantur was a Númenorean noble, the son of Caliondo, son of Eärendur. He lived during the late first millennium of the Second Age. Malantur, it is said, was to be the heir to his cousin the king Tar-Aldarion, but when laws were altered, the King's daughter Ancalimë became heir instead.
