An Auxiliary is a military unit which acts auxiliary to a military organization, either in combat or in support duties, but is not integrated into the organizational structure of the main force and have not undergone the same training and equipment routine as the combatants they are supporting. Mercenaries and Irregulars acting in support of a regular military force would qualify as auxiliaries.
