The 92UCGR4 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a DiMarzio FRED humbucking pickup at the bridge and a PAF Pro humbucker at the neck flanking a DiMarzio-made USA/IBZ C3 single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The 92UCGR4 was discontinued after 1992 along with the rest of the USA Custom line.
