Windom "Windy" Kambei was born on Coruscant into a wealthy aristocratic family. With the start of the Clone Wars, Windom decided he must do something to help, in the spirit of his heroes the Jedi Knights. Using his personal allowance and youthful enthusiasm, Windom began shepherding groups of refugees to a camp in Coruscant's Sector 728. There he met Tuil Lindo. After a series of events that led to their meeting again on Corellia, Windom became Lindo's apprentice. It was during a mission on Corellia that Windom was seriously wounded and blinded while rooting out spice dealers. In the aftermath, he committed suicide rather than live a life of blindness.
