Former Yugoslavia' (sometimes shortened as Ex Yu, ExYu or Ex-Yu) consists of the states succeeding the collapse of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1992. These countries are, listed geographically from northwest to southeast: * Slovenia * Croatia * Bosnia and Herzegovina * Serbia and Montenegro (1992-2006, called Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2003) * Montenegro * Republic of Serbia * Autonomous Province of Kosovo, independence declared unilaterally in 2008. * Macedonia
