Alo Kolar was a Zabrak Jedi Master of Clan Kolar. He was the youngest sibling of Corra Kolar and Kadrian Kolar or Darth Matas. He was raised in the ways of the Force by Zan Kolar and Mika Kolar, two Dark Jedi. Neither he nor Corra wanted to accept the Dark Side unlike his brother Kadrian who engulfed himself in it.
