Genki Rockets (元気ロケッツ) is a virtual J-Pop band. While the face of the group is 18-year old Lumi, a fictional girl born in outer space on September 11, 2037, most of the physical musicians behind the group have not been named. It is however known that Genki Rockets is produced by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who wrote the project's first single, and Kenji Tamai. Furthermore, Genki Rockets' debut studio album Heavenly Star confirms that singers Rachel Rhodes and Nami Miyahara provide the voice of Lumi. The group's first single, "Heavenly Star" was used extensively as background music throughout the video game No More Heroes, where its music video also features in the Japanese and European versions of the game.
