It's hard for the living to understand just how slowly time passes caged in the dark, starving. I had forgotten the glorious taste of warm blood taken from a scared, writhing body. The Withered Hand did not unearth me on purpose. They simply stumbled upon my earthen tomb. That is of no concern of mine now, this cave is again my home. It will not be long till I am returned to my former glory.
