Weequa was a food ingredient originating in the Delta Quadrant, part of the culinary repertoire of the Talaxian traveler Neelix. A grain substance, weequa is found on the Mokra homeworld in the Delta Quadrant. The grain is generated by the bannoo stalk plant, and comes away from the plant during lightning storms in the atmosphere. The Mokra then collect the grain for food. Neelix, in particular, knew of a recipe for Mokra couscous, using weequa grain as the primary ingredient. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)
