Fiorenzo Delle Rupi was the president of the Cloud City Fan Club Italiano di Guerre Stellari, the largest Italian Star Wars fan club of its era. In 1998, Delle Rupi wrote Star Wars: The Power of the Force (Italian: Star Wars: Il Potere della Forza), a short comic ordered by Hasbro Italy to promote the upcoming release of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. Illustrations were provided by future Cloud City Fan Club vice president Filippo Rossi.
