Argulor was an aging male golden eagle who initially lived in Mossflower Woods, but would move out to a mountain home in the West for a season, before returning back to Mossflower for the next season/s. Having never tasted pine marten, Argulor's primary goal was to eat Ashleg, who was under the service of the Greeneyes family. Argulor was fooled when he attacked Bane, who was wearing Ashleg's former cloak. Stricken with disappointment and injured from Bane's waving sword, Argulor's ancient heart gave out and he died mid-air, falling from the sky with Bane still held in a deathgrip.
