Honor Harrington class was the Grayson Space Navy's name for the joint Grayson-Manticoran design of Medusa-class pod-laying superdreadnoughts. It was named in memory of Steadholder Honor Harrington after a news report of her execution at the hands of the People's Republic of Haven. After her return from Hades, Harrington was embarrassed by the seemingly undeserved honor, but the Grayson Admiralty, the Office of Shipbuilding, Protector's Council, the Church of Humanity Unchained, and the Protector all found reasons which made it impossible to change the name of the class.
