Willie Waddle was stranded in the Scorchio Zone by Doctor Robotnik because he'd made fun of Robotnik in his stand up comedy routine. Tails found Willie to bring him back home, although they were both attacked by an advanced Sandworm Badnik. Willie managed to distract the Sandworm with his jokes, giving Tails a chance to destroy it. Tails then carried Willie out of the Zone.
