Xander Forterie is a Dutch make-up artist and sculptor who runs the Unreal Studio with his buisness partner Rogier Samuels. They were both employed by Weta Workshop for Lord of the Rings (film series). Forterie worked on creature prosthetics in all three films and made several Sideshow Collectables statuettes. He also appeared in the prologue scene in the film adaptation of The Fellowship of the Ring as the Dwarf lord Uri.
