The game was a massive success in the arcades, racking up 1 billion 500 thousand dollars in quarters. With the success of the arcade game, the game was ported as downloads for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Wii U via Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Nintendo eShop. The home versions of the game were critically and commercially successful, selling 4 million downloads worldwide.
