Verdant Plains is the 2nd level in Alternate Earth. This level takes you through the prairies of the midwestern United States. It is a fairly flat, simple level to navigate with only a few pits to cross by moving platform and plenty of enemies to get around, including Homing Bills and Nipper Plants. At the end, It starts to rain and the area floods a bit. This causes the level to go from a fairly flat stage to one of swimming or leaping across platforms, depending on your character, as there is no lifejacket power-up to use. Also, there is a pipe shortcut in this level. See if you can find it.
