Mike Cessacchio was an American paratrooper of the 101st Airborne Division, whose named was mentioned in the film Saving Private Ryan. At some point he was killed in action in France during World War II. While sifting through a bag of dogtags removed from dead paratroopers to determine if Private James Francis Ryan was among them, Captain John H. Miller and his squad discovered the dogtag belonging to Mike Cessacchio.
