Momaw was an Ithorian from the planet Ithor, and was a Rebel sympathizer. In A New Hope, Momaw can be seen in the background of the Mos Eisley Cantina scene, as a cantina patron. He was forced to Tatooine after he was exiled from Ithor for revealing secrets to the Galactic Empire about secret Ithorian agricultural technology.
