Rannveig was a ninth century Swedish bar maid. Rannveig was a resident of Sjornjost, Sweden and worked at the local bar in 880; she was the target of Aud's jealousy, as she suspected her boyfriend Olaf had an affair with her. Like everyone else at the bar (and in Sjornjost) she disliked Aud, since she thought her behavior to be strange. When those suspicions were confirmed, she turned Olaf into a troll as a form of revenge, and thus became, with the intervention of D'Hoffryn, in the vengeance demon Anyanka.
