Sir Adam is the employee of the Oaken Oar in East Brittany in Ultima V. The Oaken Oar was a Shipwright's Shop run by Master Hawkins. Adam and his son Squire Jimmy worked there. Adam claimed to the Avatar to have a secret for increasing the speed of a ship. The Avatar learned more when Squire Jimmy was questioned about Master Hawkins. It turned out that there were special plans that made a ship better, but they were lost.
