The Land Forces (Vanukeaans: Landmacht, Wrnukek: Grm) is the land based element of the Armed Forces of Vanuku. The Land Forces were established after the formation of the first Republic of Vanuku in 2139 but the origins can be found with the standing forces of the Archduchy of Banstill. The Archduke of Banstill raised the first Vanukean standing army in 1696.
