In Martian Dreams, the Avatar had to enter the pumping station in order to fill the channels, after the lens towers had filled the reservoirs with water by melting the ice caps. However, as the robot Diver had cautioned them, the controls were behind a deadly steam leak. Only Chsheket's robot body could safely pass the leak and turn the controls. The building also had a machine for spraying a durable rubber coating on robots, which, with the right ingredients, was used to make the robot bodies of the Martians look very human-like.
