The Director of Offensive and Preemptive Espionage, often abbreviated as the D.O.P.E, was a position within Imperial Intelligence created by the Director of Imperial Intelligence, Armand Isard in 17 BBY. The occupant of this position acted as an aide and deputy director to the overall Director of Intelligence, as well as a member of the Ubiqtorate. The duties of this office included conducting all offensive and preempted espionage against targeted organizations and entities and reporting out to the overall Director. It was also the D.O.P.E's duty to coordinate the operations of this office with that of the Imperial Army and Navy. This position was one of two deputy intelligence directorate offices, the other being the Director of Defensive and Responsive Espionage (the D.D.R.E). Kadren Yag
