The Adamantite Golem is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. It is a strong monster with high Attack and Defense capabilities, and usually attacks in pairs or solo. Thundaga works well in dispatching them and bypassing their defenses, though a Gold Needle can also defeat them in one blow. The player can also control them with a Beastmaster, select the fourth "Attack" command, make it aim at itself, and it will instantly kill itself. It is advised to have a Knight to help soften the damage done by these enemies, especially when party members start to get low on health, by using the Defend command. They are otherwise not a difficult opponent compared to the creatures found on higher floors of Castle Exdeath.
