The Federation Merchant Service starship SS Ariadne, Federation registry NAR-11402, was an Akyazi-class vessel. Retired from Starfleet service in 2342, she was transferred to the Merchant Service in 2346. In 2382, under the command of Captain Jago Merik, the Ariadne was assigned to the Chiron Colonial Convoy.
