"Spare Tire" Dixon, played by Bubba Smith, is a man who believes, like Al, that he was destined for greatness as a high school football player - the difference is, "Spare Tire" blames Al for that dream not coming true. The two engaged in, at least in their recollection, a titanic goal-line struggle, with Al just managing to smuggle the ball over the line for the score. "Spare Tire", however, argues that Al's knee was down before the ball crossed, and so the score should not have been counted. In "All Night Security Dude", the two now middle-aged men re-enact their clash, exhausting themselves in the process, and "Spare Tire" accepts that Al did make his touchdown.
