A cranberry glaze is a sauce made from cranberries commonly eaten on Thanksgiving and Christmas. On Christmas Eve, Hank McCoy was attempting to make his own cranberry glaze in his laboratory. However, it proved too volatile and caused a large explosion. The other X-Men raced to the lab only to find that Beast was covered in his own creation. Beast did taste it though and find it was quite good.
