This version of Robotnik, along with nine others, were summoned to present-day Mobius by a hidden agent, originally believed to be Clockwork Robotnik. Working together with himself, Reverse Robotnik revelled in the fact that Sonic the Hedgehog had no idea what would happen yet. He later used his magical powers to transport everyone to Sonic's current location, working with another Robotnik's Egg-o-Matic tracking device. However, he largely stayed out of the massive fight between the gathered Sonics and Robotniks, preferring to get to the root of the problem. Using magic once more, Reverse Robotnik summoned the Pirate Omni-Viewer, revealing itself to be the cause of the brawl. The wizard learned he had been brought here to kill all versions of Sonic (and vice-versa), causing time to fold in
