Tales of Deltora is a book written by Emily Rodda and illustrated by Marc McBride. The book was written as if Josef the Palace Librarian authored it. It tells the history of Deltora from its ancient past. The first half of the book is a compilation of Tenna Birdsong Tales, and the second part are supposed to be texts based on The Deltora Annals. The book was republished in 2013 and included the addition of three other Tenna Birdsong Tales set on the island of Dorne.
