The Capital Complex was a large structure on the planet Mariposa, which housed the governmental offices of the Mariposan colony (later the United Ficus Colony) as well as the Life Science Center. A memorial to the victims of the crash of the SS Mariposa was also attached to the Complex. The entrance to the Complex was marked by a circular courtyard, which also served as a public marketplace.
