Using a drug addicted human doctor, the Morthren's leaders are experimenting with placing an alien embryo inside a human body, in order to breed a new race of aliens. Since the aliens do not have the proper equipment to perform the implantations, a local hospital is used, and Harrison is present when one of the subjects escapes before dying violently. Harrison is acquainted with the patient's drug-addicted doctor and questions him, but the physician is evasive. To learn the truth, Harrison grabs Kincaid and they head for the morgue, where a search locates the aliens' unsuccessful experiment.
