Katrina and the Waves were an English rock/new wave band fronted by American-born Katrina Leskanich best known for the 1985 hit "Walking on Sunshine." They also won the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Love Shine a Light. Katrina co-hosted the 2005 Congratulations special in Copenhagen alongside 2000 participant (and 2003 contest co-presenter) Renars Kaupers in honor of Eurovision's 50th anniversary.
